Cape Meares Light Station - 1910

Lighthouse Access

Landing on beach of Tillamook Bay at half-tide, 2 M Northeasterly from station. Rough boathouse built by Keeper. No good road from landing to station but freight is carried by packhorse or sleds. Fair road to Netarts, 6 miles or Tillamook City, 9
miles.

 

Landing on Tillamook Bay about 2 M NE'rly; Netarts Bay, 6 M Southernly & Tillamook City, 9 M Easterly.

 

Station in good condition w the exception of roofs of oil houses & barn.  Illuminating apparatus in good condition w exception of 12 small prisms missing in upper tier of central drum of lens.
