Cast iron throughout; Lower part inside, lined with vertical wood ceiling.
10 sided pyramidal dome; cast iron outside; inside lined with sheet zinc. A tin cone lens protector is attached to roof at peak.
Cast iron.
Copper.
1/2" copper rod is attached to gallery floor & runs down outside of tower & at this date projects out into the air at the base of tower.
Balustrade of 2 rails; upper is 2.5" x 3/8" iron bar. Ballery floor is cast iron & square in
plan.
Single fold cast iron door leads from lower part of lantern to outside gallery.
Floor of 3.4" cast iron; an iron trap door in floor leads down to stairs.
No watch room.
