It was in good condition.

 

The lens was clean in all parts.

 

It was in good condition in all respects.

 

It was very clean & had been filtered.

 

It was free from gummy or burnt oil, clean & wick well trimmed.

 

It was found to be level. The keeper was requested to make himself acquainted with the process of centering the lamp burner.

 

It was clean & in most excellent condition.

 

It was on; perfectly clean, made of white linen sheeting & placed in one of the rooms below when not wanted.

 

They were up - very clean. They are put up & taken down as above; when not in use kept in one of the rooms below.

 

There is no alarm bell.

 

There was one in good condition, filled & ready to take the place of the service lamp, in case it was called for.

These doors fit tightly.

 

There were no greasy rags etc. to be seen in the rooms mentioned.

The oil butts are built according to the directions of the LH Board.

 

Gutters were not filled. Keeper's attention called to it. Air cocks were closed.

 

There was a bucket & an oil cup so hung.

 

The oil butts are placed upon a raised frame to keep them off the floor.

 

There was no empty oil butt.
