It was in very good condition.
Lens was as clean as it could be made in all its parts.
It was in good condition in all respects.
It was perfectly clear & free from dirt. It had not been filtered.
It was free from gummy or burnt oil & wick well trimmed.
It was found to be bad.
Very clean, free from scratches & stains.
It was on, very clean made of cotton ticking & placed in one of the rooms of the building when
not in use.
There were none.
There was no alarm bell.
There was a rod lamp.
Dwelling is in very neat order as regards cleanliness, but it stands in need of a general repair.

Lens is never touched improperly.
They fit tightly.
These things were all in their proper places & were not to be seen.
There were none of these articles to be seen in the lantern, watch or trimming rooms.
There was no heater at this station.
Keeper understands use of the ventilators & how to air the bldg.
They were painted according to instructions & lightning conductor was in perfect order, entering the ground.

They were so made.
Gutters were not filled. Keeper was requested to fill them. Keeper did not appear to understand use of covers & air cocks until told their use.
There was a dripping bucket hung to the oil butt which was filled.
They are so placed upon planks.
2 empty oil butts were clean & held in readiness for a new supply.
