Point Sur Light Station - 1907
Lighthouse Access
No wharf or boathouse. Supplies from lighthouse tender & sometimes other materials are landed on beach at SE'ly end of rock. Road cut in & around side of rock on grade up to lighthouse & dwelling.
1/2 mile by road to beach.
Extensive. repairs & improvements. at Point Sur are contemplated for next fiscal year. (Now in progress, Sept., 1907) They include: install sanitary plumbing; concrete retaining wall, new pumping plant, imp. water supply sys; road work; new oil house, & general repairs.
